If you want to keep it cheap I suggest using a DJ splitter cable with your onboard sound card. There is no problem in using multiple soundcards with windows 10 with Mixxx 2.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. However, as mentioned above that did not solve the problem, same error as with two other USB sound cards that I tried that use the native Windows driver.
However, now I don't get the builtin port to support another channel, so I am stuck again with a single channel. It will work that way, although it might be useful go get a headphone amp. An unknown error occurred. That did the trick to get the device running. Apparently Windows maps all connected audio to this above-mentioned channel. This is highly frustrating.

So even if you select another channel in the Mixxx audio preferences you will get all signal on the same channel. Then, you will be able to configure the different channels of the device in Mixxx. It would be helpful if somebody could point me at a USB sound card that has been proven to work with Mixxx under Windows
